Wild Rice Crepe Mix, 4.6 oz - The Secret Garden
Wow your family with Wild Rice Crepes. They are surprisingly easy to make. Roll cooked pancakes around spears of tender-crisp asparagus, cooked meats, or seafood, then top with hollandaise sauce.
Crepes are also wonderful for dessert. Spread cooled crepes with fruit, jam or ice cream, then top with whipped cream or rich chocolate sauce. Cooked crepes freeze well for later use. Just pack into an airtight container.
Package makes 12 crepes.
To prepare, beat mix with 2 eggs and 1 to 1-1/2 cups milk. Batter should be thin. Heat a 7-inch skillet or griddle over medium heat. Spread cooking surface with butter or oil. Pour a scant 1/4 cup patter onto griddle. Immediately tilt pan so batter spreads evenly. Crepe should be thin. Lightly brown crepe for about 1 minute, then turn and cook for 30 seconds. Remove from pan and repeat.
